The Alan Jackson Tribute, Gone Country, is all about that traditional country sound. The chick'n pick'n lead guitar, the screech from the fiddle, and the twang of the steel guitar all contribute to the classic country sound we grew up with. A trifecta of unique sounds that produce that backwoods, footstompin', soul-touching feeling is found in songs true to traditional country music. "This salute to Alan we are doing is about letting him know that we not only love his music, but we hear him when he speaks about where he thinks music is headed. Most of the country music coming out of Nashville just isn't country and we agree 100%. We plan to keep pouring out his music as long as God will allow," Scott Jones said. Here's to keeping it country! Follow Gone Country at gonecountrytx on Facebook and check out their Events page or website gonecountrytx.com for upcoming shows, events and merchandise.
